Description of primary interest:
It is a big closed quarry, the westernmost of the described sections. It is located in the largest serpulid-microbialite build-up at Roztocze. The build-up, in the present relief, forms an elongate hill just along the Roztocze southern border. A section more than 10 metres thick of serpulid-microbialite limestone is exposed. The build-up overlies uneven surface of Badenian coarse coralline algal carcarenites and marls.
