Description of primary interest:
The site represents the exposure with fauna (molluscs, snails and ostracoda) of the Mazovian (Holstein) Interglacial age and is located in the older glacial area of the Middle Polish (Saale) Glaciation. The sediments with fauna (clayey sand and sandy silt) are 7.0 m thick but their spread is limited to a narrow belt, about 50-100 m wide, running along the valley slope. In the exposure there are 25 molluscs and 22 ostracods species. The shells amount to 70% of the mentioned above sediment. The most important for stratigraphical purposes are two species of the snails: Viviparus diluvianus and Lithoglyphus jahni.
