| Summary | A southern species, with isolated localities in Poland, situated on the northern margin of its distribution, living in soil and rock crevices. Clandestine mode of life. Its biology is not known as living individuals are extraordinarily rarely found; recorded mostly as empty shells. Protected by law; some localities are protected in natural reserves (e.g. Skowronno nature reserve) and in national parks (Roztocze NP, Pieniny NP). | |
