Summary | Zygaena brizae occurs now in one locality in south-eastern Poland. It lives in termophilous grasslands. Cirsium rivulare and C. eriophorum are host plants for its caterpillars. The species needs conservation measures focused on preventing succession of trees and shrubs. The reintroduction of the species to its former localities, or the introduction to sites located in the proximity of former localities, is recommended. Not protected by law. | |
