Summary | The species is common in the eastern and southern parts of Poland. It occurs in xerothermic habitats of steppic character. The present threat to the species is human activity changing its breeding habitat. The maintenance of suitable biotopes for development of larvae and butterflies is a prerequisite for Colias myrmidone conservation. In Poland it is protected by law. | |
