Summary | It is a declining species in Europe, connected with peatland and marshes. In Poland it is protected by law and most of current records come from protected areas. Its largest site is the Biebrzański National Park. Main threats are posed by drainage work in the surroundings of bogs, marshes, riverine forests, alder forests and other wetland areas, which drastically accelerates the shrinkage of its biotopes due to natural reasons. | |
