| Summary | It is a xerothermophilous species, with a relatively small area of occurrence in Europe, everywhere rare. In Poland it is extremely scarce, and perhaps it has already become extinct. Its decline is attributed to anthropogenic changes in the environment, principally pollution, loss of preferred biotopes, afforestation of sandy areas. Conservation efforts should focus on the maintenance of open, sandy, and poorly vegetated areas, which requires active protection measures. The species is not protected by law. | |
