| Summary | It is a very rare, thermophilous species associated primarily with several hundred-year-old oaks. Not protected. It occurs in the environs of Poznań and in the Ziemia Lubuska region. As the groups of scattered mature oaks disappear from the Polish landscape, the further existence of the species is seriously threatened in Poland. It is recommended that the guidelines for managing old oak stands should be modified, so as the groups of oaks could be left to their natural death. In the known and protected localities of Trichoferus pallidus, old trees should be protected more effectively. | |
