Summary  Siro carpathicus is a Carpathian species described from the Polish Eastern Carpathians (locus typicus: Hnatowe Berdo in Bieszczady Mts.), known from four localities in Poland. It lives in moss and grass, under rocks in deciduous forests. Its biology is still not known. Threatened by loss of natural habitats. One of the localities is protected in the Bieszczady NP, but species is not protected in Poland.
