Summary  Acanthaclisis occitanica is the largest representative of Myrmeleontidae, easy to identify, noted previously in northern Poland (region of Vistula Spit Bar and Elbl±g). For over 100 years its occurrence has neither been confirmed in these places, nor discovered somewhere else. Causes of the extinction of A. occitanica at these localities are not known. Not protected.
