| Summary | The species is known from scattered localities in southern and eastern Poland. It is found in marshy coniferous forests and on the margins of raised bogs. Threats to the species include exploitation of peat, overgrowing of bogs and felling of marshy coniferous forests. Selected places of the occurrence of Colias palaeno should be protected in nature reserves. The species is protected by law in Poland. | |
