| Summary | Diachrysia zosimi is a stenotopic species, occurring primarily on calcareous fens, whose area is often limited to a few hectares. In Europe the species has become extinct at many localities and the existing ones are strongly isolated and constitute separate populations. In Poland it occurs in the eastern part of the country, at several localities: in the Biebrza Marshes, Białowieża Forest, Augustów Forest, and the region of Polesie Lubelskie, including the surroundings of Chełm. Conservation efforts should focus on protection of the sites of its occurrence. | |
