Summary  The species is known from a few localities in southern Poland. Its habitats are xerothermic grasslands on limestone substratum. During the last several decades it has disappeared from many localities. One may suspect that it will become extinct in Poland within the nearest ten-twenty years. It is proposed that the last important stronghold of this species in Poland should be protected in a nature reserve. Protected by law.
