Tachysphex fulvitaris (Costa, 1867)

Chwatosz pluskwiakowiec

Familia  Sphecidae
Ordo  Hymenoptera
Classis  Insecta
Typus  Arthropoda

Summary  It is a xerothermphilous species, inhabiting a considerable part of the Palaearctic (except for the north and east), rare and declining in most part of its range, more often noted in the south of Europe only. In Poland it has not been reported for a long time; formerly known from single localities in Pomerania, Wielkopolska and Silesia. Its decline may be attributed to environmental changes (afforestation of dunes, pollution). The only form of conservation of Tachysphex fulvitaris is protection of its preferred habitats. Not protected by law.
