| Summary | Fagivorina arenaria is one of the rarest species of Geometridae in Poland. Once it was known from a few localities but now, it is only reported from the Karkonosze National Park. It is not unlikely that further localities of this species will be found in mountains and their foothills, as well as in the former places of its occurrence in Pomerania. F. arenaria is connected with deciduous, particularly beech forests. The species is not protected by law but its present locality and some of the former ones are situated in protected areas. Strict protection of each newly discovered population is recommended. | |
