Limnephilus dispar McLachlan, 1875

Familia  Limnephilidae
Ordo  Trichoptera
Classis  Insecta
Typus  Arthropoda

Summary  It is an extremely rare species, declining throughout Europe; its biology and ecology is poorly known. Larvae inhabit water bodies in large forests, particularly in forest with a big share of old stands. Imagines live in the proximity of these water bodies. The species is currently known in Poland from a few individuals. It is necessary to search for its new localities and protect its habitats in nature reserves and landscape parks.
