| Summary | Poecilimon ukrainicus is a species with a very narrow distributional range in Europe. In Poland its occurrence is limited to a few localities on the border of Roztocze and the Lublin Upland, with small populations. The principal threat to the species is loss of habitat, grassland communities of the Inuletum ensifoliae and Thalictro-Salvietum type, due to above all forest succession. Active protection of P. ukrainicus localities is recommended. | |
