| Summary | A high-mountain snail with a fragmented, insular distribution; in Poland restricted to the West Tatra Mountains (Tatra endemite). Its range covers also a few mountain pockets in Slovakia. Chilostoma cingulellum is endangered due to its very limited and disrupted distribution area. It is protected by law and its localities are situated in the Tatra National Park. | |
