| Summary | The species is rarely noted; it occurs mainly in the southern regions of Poland. It is found in different biotopes, both xerothermic and wet. Its caterpillars are connected primarily with Oenothera and Epilobium, and also Lythrum salicaria. In Poland Proserpinus proserpina is protected by law. The species does not require special conservation measures. | |
