Summary  Scardia boletella occurs at scattered localities in southern and eastern Poland. It inhabits old deciduous and mixed forests. Caterpillars live in dead wood and in polypores. Conservation efforts should focus on the maintenance of natural habitats of the species and leaving old dead trees in the forest. Not protected by law.
